Pride Land Update

Dear Lion King Thespians,

Rehearsals Schedule for this Sunday
We are looking forward to a great first rehearsal with the full cast together this Sunday.

What do I need to bring to Sunday rehearsals?
·         All students should bring a water bottle.
·         Middle School cast and crew should pack a lunch and drink for Sunday (starting February 21st we will have pizza available for those that wish to purchase lunch).
·         Please bring a sweater/sweatshirt as it is sometimes cool in the gym. Make sure your sweater is labeled.
·         Athletic or character shoes (no boots or open toe shoes)
·         Snacks will be provided for all cast and crew. (Please remember snacks are provided only on Sunday rehearsals, all participants are encouraged to pack and bring a snack during the weekday rehearsals (T,W, TH rehearsals).

Where do I go and how do I pick up from a Sunday rehearsals?
·         Drop off begins at 15 minutes before call time. If you arrive before these times, please have your student wait with you in your car as we are setting up the rehearsal spaces and have no supervision available for the children before this time.
·         The entrance for play rehearsal at the middle school is located around the back of the school at the gym doors by the playing field. Please take the side stairwell of the school by the playing field down to the gym doors located at the back of the school.
·         Should you arrive more than 10 minutes after call time or need to pick up early, you will need to come around to the back of the gym, to pick up your child and sign your child out.
·         For Sunday pick up you will not need to leave your cars, as we will come up to the carpool lane for carpool as a group. Please form a single file line in our carpool lane for pick up.

Volunteers
In order to pull off the amazing show and help our young thespians shine, we need your assistance.  This year we are using VolunteerSpot to organize our sign ups..

If you are interested in becoming a Sponsor of the Arts or Patron of the Arts, please complete the attached forms and submit with payment to either Lower School or Middle School to the attention of Drew Frank. If you have any questions feel free to contact me, 678-527-3303.

Tickets
Once again, all ticket purchasing will be handled through the online system.  You will be able to select your seats, pay online with a credit card, and print out your receipt/ticket confirmation (which will serve as your ticket on the day of the show). Ticket sales will open online Friday, February 12th in the early morning. The school community will be emailed this link in the afternoon, which will enable cast members and their families to purchase tickets in the morning before the whole school community has this link. Performance Assignments
All lower school cast members will appear in all 4 shows.
The middle school casting is done and we will announce show assignments by February 2nd.
